Shared Lists

Build a reusable product group from sales and product rules, then connect it to multiple Shopify collections.

Why use a Shared List?

Stores often repeat the same product logic across several collections. You may want the same group of strong in-stock sellers in a homepage collection, a brand collection, and a seasonal landing page.

Shared Lists let you maintain that logic once instead of rebuilding it collection by collection.

One collection or several?

Use Populate collections when the product rules belong to one individual collection. The logic stays with that collection and Planera keeps its matching products refreshed.

Use a Shared List when several collections need the same calculated product group. Maintain the logic once, then connect the list wherever it should be reused.

What can define a list?

Use the same calculated signals available for collection population:

How it works

  1. Create a Shared List in Planera.
  2. Add the product rules and optional limit.
  3. Preview the matching products.
  4. Publish the list to Shopify.
  5. Connect it to each supported collection that should use it.

When the list refreshes, connected collections receive the updated product group. Each collection can still have its own title, other collection logic, Campaigns, and Advanced Sort strategy.

Shared Lists are not collections

A Shared List is a reusable group of products. It does not create a storefront page by itself and it does not control product order.

Connect the list to Shopify collections, then use Advanced Sort when those collections need a specific storefront order.
